1. Access the porting section

  • In your Phound account, navigate to the Numbers section and tap Add Existing Number to begin.

2. Link or port your number

  • Choose your path: Link your number to use it as an identifier within Phound (similar to how WhatsApp uses your existing number), or Port it to fully transfer ownership to Phound.

3. Filling out the porting form

  • Select Port Number and enter the required details — your phone number, your current carrier account number, and your port-out PIN (available from your existing carrier).

4. Choose a port-out-date

  • Select a date at least three days in the future to give the process enough time to complete cleanly without any gap in service.

5. Submit your request

  • Review your details and submit the form. Our team will receive it immediately and begin processing your porting request.

6. Keep your current service active

  • Do not cancel your existing plan until porting is fully confirmed. Cancelling early may cause your number to be permanently released.

8. You're live on phound

  • Once ported, your number appears under Active Numbers in your account. You'll get a notification the moment it's ready — then it's all yours across calls, texts, and video.
